FL-306 asks the court to reschedule the hearing on a Request for Order (FL-300), an order to show cause or other moving paper. It cites California Rules of Court, rule 5.95. The form says to read How to Reschedule a Hearing in Family Court (FL-304-INFO) first.
When it is used
Not for domestic violence hearings
The form says not to use it to change the date of a domestic violence restraining order hearing, and points to DV-115-INFO instead.
