Privacy Policy

Effective July 2026. Updated October 17, 2026 (advertising measurement, videos).

Legal Hub Group ("LHG") collects the information you submit through this site — such as your name, firm, email address, and phone number — solely to respond to your inquiry, prepare proposals, and provide litigation support services you request. Client portal accounts are governed by the service agreements executed with your firm.

What we don't do

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers necessary to operate this site and deliver our services (for example, email delivery), or advertising measurement partners as described below, or where required by law or court process.

Case data

Information handled in the course of process serving, skip tracing, or e-filing engagements is processed under the instructions of the retaining firm and applicable law, and retained as required for court documentation.

Documents uploaded for e-filing

When you start an e-filing from your document, the first pages of that document are read to fill in the filing form for you. Your document is read by an automated service to fill in the form. It is not used for any other purpose.

The e-filing help assistant

Messages and files you send the help assistant are processed by an automated service to answer you and are not used for any other purpose.

The free document check

When you use the free document check on this site, the documents you upload, the results of the check (the problems found and the fixes made) and your conversation with Lexary, our Filing Concierge, are saved, and may be reviewed by our team to improve the service. Your documents are read by an automated service to look for filing problems and to answer your questions. If you create an account, they are moved into your account.

Email me a link

On our free document check page, you can ask us to email you a link to that page so you can run the check later from another device. We use the email address you give us to send that link, to see whether it was opened, and to write to you once about your check. We keep it with a note of the page you asked from and how your visit reached our site. We do not add it to a mailing list or share it, except with the company that delivers our email.

The Clio connection

If you connect your Clio Manage account, Legal Hub Group reads the Clio matters, contacts and documents you open through it, when you open them, to fill in your filings and serve orders. It saves court-stamped copies, signed proofs of service and expense entries for court fees and our charges back to the matter they came from. Your Clio access is stored encrypted and used only for this. When you disconnect, or remove Legal Hub Group's access in Clio, we delete that access and the links we kept between your work and your Clio matters; documents you chose to file or serve stay with that filing or order.

The AI assistant connector (Claude and ChatGPT)

If you connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant to your Legal Hub Group account, the assistant acts as you, inside your firm's account, and only through the actions we offer it: checking court papers with Lexary, listing the courts we file in and your prices, showing the status of your firm's filings and serve orders, and starting drafts. We receive only what the assistant sends for those actions — the court papers you give it to check or file, and the details it fills in for a draft. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant. Papers and drafts are saved in your account like anything you upload on our site, are read by an automated service in the same way, and are kept as described above. What we send back to the assistant (check results, the court list, prices, and the status of your filings and serve orders) is then handled by that assistant's provider under its own privacy policy. We keep a record of which assistant you connected, when it was last used, and the actions it took, as we do for actions on our site; its sign-in keys are stored only in a scrambled (hashed) form. The assistant can never submit a filing, place a serve order or make a payment. You can disconnect an assistant at any time under your name (top right) → AI assistants, and its access ends at once; changing your password or deactivating your account disconnects it too.

Cookies

The free document check uses a cookie to recognize your browser when you come back, so your checks and your conversation stay together and the daily limit of free checks can be applied. If you create an account from that browser, your earlier visits are linked to your account.

When you first visit this site, we also save in a cookie the page you arrived on, the website that sent you (for example, a search engine), and any campaign or ad tags in the link you followed. If you then use the free document check, we keep this with your visit so we can see which of our ads, posts and search results bring people to us. This stays in our own systems and is not shared with anyone.

Advertising measurement

On the free document check page that our ChatGPT ads link to, we use OpenAI's measurement pixel to learn whether our ads work. It sets cookies in your browser and tells OpenAI when that page is visited, when a document check starts and when it finishes, and when you create an account from that page, together with the page's address, the address of the page that sent you, a random browser identifier, and the technical details any web request carries (such as your IP address). We never send OpenAI your documents, their names or contents, anything you type, or your name, email or phone number. OpenAI handles this information under its own privacy policy. You can block these cookies in your browser settings.

On the pages of this site, we use LinkedIn's Insight Tag to learn whether our LinkedIn ads work and to show our ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited this site. It sets cookies in your browser and tells LinkedIn which pages of this site you visit and when you create an account, together with the page's address, the address of the page that sent you, a browser identifier, and the technical details any web request carries (such as your IP address). LinkedIn may connect this to your LinkedIn account. We never send LinkedIn your documents, their names or contents, anything you type, or your name, email or phone number. LinkedIn handles this information under its own privacy policy. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, and you can turn off ads based on other websites in your LinkedIn settings.

On the pages of this site, we use the Reddit Pixel to learn whether our Reddit ads work and to show our ads on Reddit to people who have visited this site. It sets cookies in your browser and tells Reddit which pages of this site you visit and when you create an account, together with the page's address, the address of the page that sent you, a browser identifier, and the technical details any web request carries (such as your IP address). Reddit may connect this to your Reddit account. We never send Reddit your documents, their names or contents, anything you type, or your name, email or phone number. Reddit handles this information under its own privacy policy. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, and you can turn off ads based on other websites in your Reddit settings.

Videos

Some pages of this site show a video hosted on YouTube. Until you press play, the page shows only a picture stored on our own site, and nothing is sent to YouTube. When you press play, your browser loads YouTube's player from youtube-nocookie.com, Google's privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube then receives which video you are watching, that it is playing on our site, and the technical details any web request carries (such as your IP address), and it may store information in your browser to play the video and count views. If you are signed in to a Google account, Google may connect this to that account. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy. We never send YouTube anything you type or upload on this site.
